Digital Graffiti #2

Digital Graffiti #2

Levontin Street, Tel Aviv

An urban design project tailored specifically to be digitally projected on an existing building façade in Tel‐Aviv. The three dimensional complexity of the facade which consisted of balconies and AC units, was utilized as part of the content of the work.
The project visualizes an inverted view of the building from the inside-out, using the building’s windows to accommodate an erratic urban scene.
Relying on previous studies of flight patterns of flocking starlings, the work uses physics-based particle systems as images to generate a dynamic pattern of movement upon the facade.
